Privacy Policy

Last updated Oct 21, 2026

This policy explains what information DollarMap (“we”) collects when you visit thedollarmap.com and how it is used. This is a template; review it with a qualified professional before relying on it.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us. If you email us or subscribe to our newsletter, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message.
  • Calculator inputs. Numbers you type into our calculators are processed in your browser and are not sent to us.
  • Usage data. We use privacy-focused analytics to understand which pages are read. This may include your browser type, device, approximate region and pages visited.

Cookies and advertising

We use third-party vendors, including Google, to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at Google’s Privacy & Terms page.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google, a certified consent management platform, asks for your choice before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time with the “Privacy choices” link at the bottom of every page.

How we use information

To run and improve the site, reply to messages, send the newsletter you asked for, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal information.

Newsletter

When you subscribe, we store your email address, the page where you signed up, the website that referred you (if any), campaign tags in the link (if any), your approximate country, and the dates you subscribed and confirmed. We send emails through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), which processes your address only to deliver our messages. Our emails contain a small image and tracked links so we can see whether a newsletter was opened and which links were clicked. We keep this data until you unsubscribe and ask us to delete it.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in each email, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and ask us to delete information you have sent us by emailing hello@thedollarmap.com.

Children

DollarMap is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
